Music and special educational needs unit

This extension project created a large music room, a rehearsal rooms, 3 practice rooms and a recording studio and SEN classrooms. The building is a mix of steel framed and conventional load bearing masonry construction.

Sand Engineering were retained by the school to provide full structural engineering design service. Project Architects were HSB Architecture (now LED Architects) of Highbridge.

The extension also involved alterations to the existing 1960’s dining hall.
